Work experience
From autumn 2025, all students in grades 7–9 will take part in mandatory work experience — giving young people a real taste of working life and helping them explore future career paths. In partnership with Naturvidenskabernes Hus (Naturvidenskabernes Hus), I have created two short films to share this message: one for parents, and one for businesses who could open their doors to the next generation. The initiative is backed by a strong alliance of organisations from across education, business, and the labour market — including the Danish Local Government Association (Kommunernes Landsforening), the Ministry of Children and Education (Børne- og Undervisningsministeriet), and the Confederation of Danish Industry (Dansk Industri).
